lars raun 0 Posted May 14, 2006 a destroyed ramp, used during the summer by disabled people, going for a swim. 45 second exp @ f/16. Please view 'larger' because the default view somehow looks overcompressed and full of jpeg artifacts. Comments appreciated :-) Link to comment

ben heaven 0 Posted May 15, 2006 Lars, I am a big fan of your work, i think you have an excellent personal style, eye and perhaps equally important, something to say in your pictures. I too was wondering if you would feel happy sharing with us your technique for texturing and aging your photographs. I don't think you would have to worry about lots of imitations poping up as you clearly are the master of this look, but it would be educational to the rest of us and give greater insight into you work. i can completley understand though if you'd prefer to keep this aspect of your work private. thanks, Ben Link to comment
atdeleted 0 Posted May 15, 2006 I love these long exposures of yours. I sure would like to have that kind of 'brushes' to edit my photos. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted May 15, 2006 Lars, your style is clearly recognisable and it is right that you seem to have something to tell that go beyond the traditional landscape visions that we see so often. Few photographers have that immense visionary capacity that you master. When this is said, I?m not sure that I can follow you into this world of what I see as angst and nothingness and passiveness. I mentioned this in my contribution to this weeks POW. I see it as something very Nordic, but the part of the Nordic collective heritage that does not refer to the joy of living, passion or even fighting for a better future. Maybe I over interpret your photos, but surely you transmit a message that can be understood in this way and maybe specially by Nordic people like myself. Link to comment
