"Wuthering Heights" has always been my favourite book. This year one

of my dreams became true, and I visited Yorkshire. The kind guy at the

tourist information office gave me the map for a walking tour of at

least 3 1/2 hours when I said him that I have 3 to reach my train back

(given the proximity to Eastern there were even steam trains, this was

another highlight!). So I needed 2 hours out of the three to reach

this point, and I had 1h to rush back ...

I hope it was worth the effort!

Hi,

many many thanks for the hint.

I've just taken a quick look - maybe I'll be able to return over the weekend ... it seems quite complicated but from what I understand nothing can be done in afterwards if I do not have two images ... Indeed, it might have worked with a cloudy sky ...

The sky was indeed cloudy (white), since it rained all the days before, and I was happy that at least it was not raining. However, the sun shined so shortly, that sometimes it disappeared behind the clouds from the moment I pressed the camera shoter till the photo was taken ...

I often had problems with white sky in Germany, too, as it also rains a lot or it is cloudy there, with classic film & scanning. Does it help there as well?

many thanks again and warm regards

Maria

Maria, blending is actually rather simple once you've done it a couple of times. Even though these are while clouds, there are details to be enjoyed here. Try this process. You will be amazed at the results. If you need any help email me. I will be glad to help.

This moor is beautiful.

Regards,

David

Hi David,

I have uploaded a few more images, where I think to have improved the sky (using curves ie changing darkness/lightness).

Please let me know what you think.

Many thanks for all your kind help
