Is the girl 2nd from the left yours? :-) This is wonderful. I love that the children fill the frame. Their faces are lovely!

Lou Ann, good pick up. This was shot at Grandparents day at the school. I really liked the lighting and the tightness of the faces.

Great range of expressions, Howard. Just great. As you know, this is one of my very favorite sorts of images. Look at all those complex emotions. so much of childhood captured here before us. Nice framing of their heads, too.

I love the title Howard, and I have identified your grandchild right away.Nice crop with the two lines of children, like saying there are more and more comming....

At first, I was bothered by the weight of the composition...seemed too heavy to the left. But, the more I view it, the better balanced it becomes...the boy in shadow to the right helps that. The other interesting note, is that the girls are lit, and they outshine the boys. Are they a more important part of the future?

That's a real interesting point of view. It never occurred to me, as a boy, that we were behind the girls in the shadows. I'll bet this could generate lots of discussion about the subliminal meaning of the image.
