I wasn't too keen on the slight yellow cast, but on second thoughts, I think it adds warmth to the composition. Well done, as ever Jayme :)

I like the lighting dynamic range here. The in-focus flowers seem to be spotlighted with very pleasing detail. Very nice!

Lou Ann- Just beyond this is a huge field of some yellow flowering thing that's driving all of our allergies crazy. We all guess what it really is? No clue :)

 

Sarah- Thanks, I did crop this a little. The 4x6 format sometimes is just NOT what works.

 

Frank- Simple, from the simple minded :) Just kidding. Something my husband would say :)

 

Lannie- Actually, I did get bit by something. Right on my right arm, next to my surgery scar. Made it look even uglier :) I know as far as scars goes, it's a good one, but I'd prefer NO scar at all :) LOL. When I tromp into areas like this, I try very hard NOT to think of the bugs & rodents that are running around under & near my feet :0

 

Steve- Thanks, however, I must admit I didn't see this as evocative. But then I took it, so I know what's just over the top of these flowers :) Those yellow things :)

Mark- the yellow was late evening light. It was just before sunset. I was late getting out of work, plus I was really tired, I forgot to change the WB on the camera :)
