i like the awesome posing, i'll assume it's a professional model or at least an advanced yoga practicant, the shining skin and the straight down lightning work together to give the picture a little more impact, good composing. square picture, a medium format maybe?

if it was me processing? maybe darkened the overall picture or at least the back and floor, so the backing and the floor (table?) the model is on have blended or faded to black giving a more deep impression of levitation.

was there any humour indended? in the way the 'flab' on the legs make a smile?

This is a positively exquisit image. I don't know if you know of the wonderful photographer of the female figure, Ruth Bernhard? If not GOOGLE the name and you'll just love her works (see her box nude series). By saying this I'm not saying one is better or worse than the other, but each have unique visual qualities that are quite seperate. Though I must say that the mood of this work is a-kin to Ms Bernhards works. I particularly enjoy the contrast of the legs that seem to be cocked and ready to spring her up at any moment, with the quite relaxed quality of her upper torso. For me this tension really make this work exceptional. Thanx so much for posting this one.
