neilpeters 0 Posted May 16, 2006 scanned b+w print, ilford mg pearl, 2 negatives, 2 enlargers, there is actually a dull dusty sunset behind her, that wasn't printed, and some lightning was added instead from another negative. any comments most welcome, thanks. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 16, 2006 I think the idea and composition are good. I would like to see more light on the model. I am also a bit upset that you have cut her toes off! Link to comment
neilpeters 0 Posted May 16, 2006 thank you David, the print is actually too large to fit in the scanner (she does have toes ) .... neil Link to comment
andy f arps 0 Posted August 4, 2006 I love the impact of this shot, and for me the reduced light on the model works perfectly, providing real mood, and drama. The subject suggests casual defiance within a possibly forboding situation. Excellent!! Link to comment
j.k._york 0 Posted September 27, 2006 toes would be nice, so on that point I agree with David. Otherwise this is quite original. the low light on the model for me only emphasizes the thin backlight of her curves. i don't have to see her in high key for my imagination to work. "danger, dead man's curve ahead?" regards, J.K. Link to comment
