neilpeters 0 Posted May 13, 2006 scanned b+w print, [a tribute to a friend] Harley passed away new years eve, after being unable to pass a rawhide chewy. If you love your pet, never give them rawhide, it does not digest. Harley survived cancer (removed spleen, partial liver) 3 rattlesnakes (they never had a chance) a desert toad poisoning (lots of water, you have 15 minutes) and Parvo at 8 weeks old ( 3 days in ICU ) thanks friend ) Link to comment
tmhutchins 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Excellent, the dog looks like it is flying. The Sepia/Blach & White makes it nice too. I really think sepia is making a come back. Maybe you can get the dog to do that again and try a slower shutter speed and some panning to experiment. Cool!! Tim H Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Sorry for your loss Neil. This is a nicely done photo. I like the composition and it is a clean catch of the action. CHEERS HARLEY! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 14, 2006 This is a wonderful shot of your best friend. That's all I know to say about it regarding quality. That said, images like this have a deep and special meaning for me, although I often find them hard to look at, knowing that the dog isn't with us any longer. Our best friends never get to stay with us as long as we want and need them to. I know you have years of memories of Harley stored away, and hopefully many many photographs. My compliments on a beautiful image that shows Harley's spirit and zest for life, and my sympathies to you for the loss. Kindest Regards - Jim Link to comment
