pturton 10 Posted May 12, 2006 Tanya, You have presented a beautiful mix of colour, well composed with a nicely blurred background. IMHO, two things distract from an otherwise excellent image: the grain or noise and the over sharpening which is apparent by the halo on the lower center bud. NeatImage or similar software could remove the noise and by setting the sharpening layer to Luminosity with the Layer Style, Blend If ranges set properly, halos are not produced. A starting point for a Sharpening Layer could be Luminosity 66% and Blend If Gray ranges: This Layer - 10/35, 150/215 and Underlying Layer - 10/35, 160/220. Link to comment

kellen1 0 Posted November 12, 2006 I really like this series of shots. You have a good eye for these floral shots as well as your studio work. Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted November 15, 2006 You are so very sweet to follow my work so closely Kellen. For me, it's really hard to find a true friend/companion (esp. woman) to identify with since i cover from Nature to Nude photography. I am happy to know a good person and a sensitive photographer like you can identify with the intimacy of my work. Some found my work offending to them (the Nudes are too much for them); consequently, i also got labelled "bad girl", and they don't want to associate with me. Oh well! i can't make others to think what they want to think. On the other hand, i have also gotten full support from many from all backgrounds. It's always a pleasant visit to your site as well. I hope things are all well for your and yours. Warm regards, Tanya. Link to comment
