davidmccracken 2 Posted May 11, 2006 I like My Mamiya! It takes interesting photos.... well at least interesting subjects. Feedback appreciated! Should there be anyone looking for my more daring work, you can always do a search for me on photopoints or photosig where I have uploaded some new images along with some of my deleted images. I am sure to be uploading more soon. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted May 11, 2006 As you are aware, I am partial to this series and this one makes me more so. It is a great idea that you have mastered. I assume that the object in the upper left is the models heel, correct me if I am wrong. -Cheers Link to comment
biggord 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Great picture - the heel of the model in the frame is a great way of showing it is real time Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 12, 2006 Richard, I am glad you like the split prism! Owen, I am quite partial to this series (or idea) myself. I must try to develop it. Gordon has answered the point about your assumption! You are not wrong. Gordon, You understand the composition of this perfectly. Thanks a lot. Edwin, Of all the comments so far, I think yours is the most apt. I do agree with you. Stephen, Thanks! Thanks everyone. I do appreciate feedback more than anything. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted May 12, 2006 Thanks for the smiles, but not the moon. :) In thumbnail I thought this was the window/door of a wood burning little stove, and I was going to call it the Bum Warmer. Cute idea. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 13, 2006 Light, I wouldn't say the idea is new to me but it is a theme I enjoy. I will probably take more. I am glad you like it. MM, "A wood burning stove..." ... we do see photos in different ways! Thanks a lot! Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted May 13, 2006 This is not new, but I still like this idea. I also like the part that a little leg are shown on the top. Cheers!!!! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 14, 2006 Thanks Spencer! You are correct. It is not new but it is something I enjoy doing. I have a funny feeling I will be doing more. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 15, 2006 David, this is a great addition to this fun and creative series. I recall another shot where part of the model was in the frame as well as the viewfinder. While I agree with the idea of keeping her heel in the frame, I wonder if including just a little more if it, might work better. Or not. I felt a little like someone in "the know" when I noticed it there. I knew it was deliberate from your past posts in this series. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted May 15, 2006 Well at least nobody has pointed out that it's ass-backwards. My favorite angle actually. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 16, 2006 Kent, Thanks a lot. As has been said and noticed, it is something I have done before but it is something I enjoy! Laurie, I can't argue with anything you say and I will certainly keep what you have said in mind should I do this again! Mark, I am not sure how you can tell. I guess you might think this because you can only see one heel! Thanks everyone! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 2, 2007 Perhaps not perfect but I am glad you think so. Link to comment
