marcos_a._s._silva 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Its a good shoot. But If you find something with more "vivid" color to give a kind of contrast, could be better. Just one point of view... Relax ;-) Link to comment
jafsc 0 Posted May 11, 2006 The opposition of matters and textures give a good feeling of depth and space. Glance is guided by the mouvement of the shore. jafsc Link to comment
danielmikk 0 Posted May 11, 2006 This is one of those photos which really makes me want to go to where it's taken from as fast as possible, and that's always a good thing imagewise :-) Your composition shows great depht, and the scenery really looks fantastic. The clouds also adds that extra impact which works very well on photos like this one, so you defenitely have a nice shot here. However, the colours doesn't really add anything here as they are pretty muted because of the half overcast weather, so I would love to see a b&w version.. Atleast I think this image has all the ingrediants to be even stronger in b&w..-but maybe that's just me.. :-) Anyways, loved your picture! -Daniel- Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 23, 2006 I really like how you have composed this Irina. The flowers in the forground is a fantastic way for the viewers eye to be led into the photo and gives this some pop visually. I really like the ominous dark presence created by the mountain face on the right and the white waves are great. Perhaps try a longer exposure (1 or 2 secs) for the water. The sky lets this one down a bit as the blue sky is muted against the white clouds. Overall you have done an excellent job creating depth in this one which is not an easy thing to do with landscape photos. Cheers, Mauro. Link to comment
