Great atmosphere and light in this, Pnina. I listened to the recording; not everything is clear, but enough to understand.

The word "Hatikva" in Hebrew means HOPE, it is our anthem. and hope is what kept us going. If you read the article "Never again? ", it means we are not safe as yet.

I appreciate so much your comments to that.

Dear Pnina,

I was moved speechless listening to the recording from the camp in 1945.

I visited Bergen-Belsen in 1976. The silent hills settled in my mind since then. Thank you for sharing this document...

Very effective with nicely natural light, good balance between dark & bright, the exposure & details just perfect, splendid composition by great perspective, very well execution, Pnina!!! Best regards.

The dark interior and light spilling in from outside fit the subject very well.

I have just read Mladen article, I worry for your part of the world. I don't understand why some people fear and hate others over what they believe.

Pnina - Very moving image.

Chris, thanks a lot. It is worrying...But it is not only us that are not yet safe. The western world is in danger of fundamentalism, and nuclear weapons in certain countries, with carzy leaders....This one is a reminder. Thanks for your feedback .Pnina

Thanks for coming to this one and writing your feelings and thoughts, I agree with you, that place while photographing it, my feeling was " Cherdat Kodesh" , ( I hope you will understand the Hebrew, I don't know how to say it in English), but it was like being with all of them in the Holocaust, which members of my family did not survive The outside light and inside darkness with the Ner Tamid is shadering. There are only questions , but there are no answers, and the questions continue nowadays too....

It is for us, and for sensitive visitors, as you well know, there are still a lot of people that say the holocaust did not happen.... It is important to remember, to remind, and fight the others ....
