LenMarriott 9 Posted November 4, 2006 Another from the 40 or so shots I took one day in Wetzlar 43 years ago. To see all of them visit my 'Leica School' folder. Our class assignment was to take at least 36 photos on a walking tour of Wetzlar in Nov. 1963. Though, perhaps, mediocre in content they are an example of what can be done by a newby in a foreign environment with minimal but first class instruction on state of the art (in 1963) equipment. Enjoy, LM. Link to comment
shrednarcc 0 Posted November 5, 2006 This subject is not mediocre, this sort of simple classic candid image is the kind that can be very exemplary of a time and place. For that reason, this peak into the past is quite interesting to view. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted November 5, 2006 Zach, Thanks for the validation. Your own portfolio has much to offer also. Most of these shots lay unprinted & thus unviewed for over 40 years. My recent aquisition of a used film scanner encouraged me to run the mostly unprinted negs. through it for a few surprises. Glad you enjoyed viewing them. It's why I post. Best, LM. Link to comment
