ah, jay, please: there's lots of good dog pictures on PN taken by our esteemed peers.

this is indeed a compelling image, but it's more about circles thematically than it is about dogs. excellent lines and exposure and all that photo-talk...

i like the subtle metaphor about the world sort-of dropping off: from the spiffy looking motorcycle and the home-depot looking sidewalk tiles and the clean wall board; opposite that is a palpably precipitous decline to the grit of the street, cobbles and crud. the world of the street dog.
