Thanks Iren, Jason, and Pascale. This was a fun shot to take, considering the water level was very low in relation to the pier I was sitting on. It was quite an effort to extend my feet low enough to touch the water, focus the camera, and still remain safe and dry on the pier. Your comments are greatly appreciated....Regards...LJ

Excellent thought

This is my favorite of your photos so far. The water is perfect and you really wonder...how are those feet not sinking. Glad to see from your notes how you managed it. Good job! I also enjoyed your red chair portfolio - neat twist on a familiar idea.

I really like this, the surface tension between your feet and the water. The main impact for me is from the highlights provided by the feet and of sourse the sun/cloud pattern reflected in the water. You also seem to have captured a water-beetle at top right!

I love this too Lesa. I can feel the water under my feet just as the person does in the photo. Great comp, DOF is very good and the feet being nice and sharp draws our attention right there. You have a very nice and interesting collection of photos here. I like your perspective on many things. Thanks for your comment on my photo.

This is a very nice image, the reflection is almost dreamlike, while the feet bring the viewer right back into reality.

I just found you portfolio and I am very pleased to see your work. You are a very good photographer with an ability to shoot and instinctively know what many people do not. Nice work and I will be now able to see as you post.
