LenMarriott 9 Posted August 2, 2006 Jana, I agree with all the positive comments above & offer you another crop to consider. To me, the large light area in the upper left tends to allow the eye to wander out of the frame at that point so I've cropped it ( I hope not too severely) out. In my opinion the wandering of the eye has now stopped and the subject (flowers in the field) are no longer competing with it for attention. Would love to hear your views. Best, LM. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted August 2, 2006 Len, certainly a great composition of yours by cropping. The mood of the image changes. It gives attention to the flowers, you are right. I chosed my composition because of the dramatic clouds . They are a vital part of Holland. Above all, the fields were in the sun, so the dramatic cloud makes for a good balance.
