tholte 16,570 Posted May 6, 2006 Comments welcome only if you think the beavers would do "a heck of a job" fixing the levies in New Orleans. Link to comment
joe baker pine bush ny 0 Posted May 6, 2006 very nice photo Tim; the beavers would most likely do a better job than the corp. of enginers. Link to comment
nirakara 0 Posted May 9, 2006 Love this one. Complexity works well for me. I feel b/w was a good choice as it simplifies it to a certain extent. reflection and the real one blend so well but still stand apart(nicely). Sounds weird? You make everything work in b/w and I am not sure how you make your photos look so distinctive. I can bet it is your photo without looking at the name. Do you slightly underexpose? and the slight toning...? anyways, nice to see you are back. Hope you are doing OK. Missed looking at your 'prolific postings' particularly the no-words. you seem to have one on every subject on earth :-) btw, I finally got a new D70s, just the body (you were the first one I got an advice from, here on PN). Gotten too trigger-happy, as if I am liberated! finding anything and everything interesting now! Hope I'll start to think more. -Chitra Link to comment
tholte 16,570 Posted May 9, 2006 Joe, thanks! C TR, the D70 is the most fun camera you have ever owned. I was on vacation for two weeks and took about a hundred some shots a day. I love b&w, espcially sepia and platinum looking prints so that's what I convert to. Link to comment
