pnital 36 Posted May 7, 2006 Umair, the hazy atmospher that looks like a desert, gives it a special look. the partition of the people is very good, as well as the light, which is dim but good enough to light the scene. Well captured. Link to comment

Karl Schuler 48 Posted June 12, 2006 I came back o this photo many times since you submitted it. I made several attemps to write a comment. Somehow I did not find the right words. For my taste this photo is one of the best composed ones in your rich collection. The red and the blue stand out and give it life. A metaphor of rural life around the world. It really looks like a painting which I would expect to find in a museum of old masters. There may be heavy photoshopping behind what we see. I wunder how the original looked like. There are several artists from Pakistan in PN who work in this style. But this one stands out. But then I also think: Is it not too dark? Does this photo need such a treatment? Would not a photo closer to the reality conyev the same message in a even better way? This are my mixed feelings in front of this master piece. Karl Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted June 14, 2006 thanx dear karl 4 ur thoughts & observations. the shot was taken on a dusty evening in very low light. u r right about the low light settings of this photo. well, its about the mood i guess, but i pesonally loved a bit brighter print of this shot. it looks nice, i agree. i worked on it in PS in a way that edges stay dark & centre of the frame looks brighter. also worked 4 color & contrast & a little work 2 enhance dusty atmposphere. best regards!
