Almost an abstract look to this, with the background closely matching the dragonfly's colors. Nice detail, too.

Kim, I should have pointed out that the wings appear to resemble the background because they are partially transparent and serve as a protective camouflage mechanism . . .

I was quite fascinated by this dragonfly since I had never seen one like it before. . originally I saw him fly over a pond covered with tiny white flowers which made for the perfect camouflage setting . . . fortunately, for me, he kept landing on the rocks beside the water . .
