Croston church framed

davidbridge

Framed using the arch of the entrance to the church school. The camera had to be at ground level to take this shot meaning I could not see through the viewfinder or even put the camera on a tripod to take the picture so had to kneel down and hand hold the camera just inches from the ground and then see what came out. Not doing this would have chopped the top off the Church.

I tried to get to the Church to take this photo earlier in the

evening but missed the perfect light. Sadly there were no clouds so

the sky looks rather dull. Had I been several hours earlier it may

have been a totally different picture (threatening clouds and

therefore moody pic) but what I really wanted was a pretty picture.

Did it work?

This is toally unaltered and the large version is straight from the

camera in full res. i.e. no phptshop and not even cropped - rare on

here!
