biancavanderwerf 0 Posted May 1, 2006 I used a greyfilter (I don't know the english word, it's half grey, half transparent.. :-) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 2, 2006 "greyfilter" filter = graduated neutral density (GND) filter. Nice composition you have here. I do think the filter created perhaps one stop too strong; the sky and the distant sand seem a bit dark. Happy shooting. Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted May 2, 2006 The light on the foreground is really gorgeous. Lovely work you have here. Link to comment
prevordrake 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Very nice composition. I love this point of view. Lighting is perfect, for me! Very nice shot, and incredible location!!! ...ooops what about the location?!?!? where is it?!?!?! Link to comment
billangel 9,671 Posted May 2, 2006 I really like this shot. The stone in the foreground, with its clearly shown color and texture, very nicely compliments the rock formations at the horizon. Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Thank you all!!! It is in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan.... Very very hot and dry hahaha.. :-) Link to comment

click here for menachems 0 Posted May 2, 2006 i think if you would add a UV filter you would get the less haze on the mountains in the background, as for the overall image, its well composed and nice lighting. feel free to comment on my portfolio. Link to comment
7/7 da's duidelijke taal, he? Lieve groetjes, Ada:~)))) Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted May 3, 2006 Pleasing composition & superb lighting. Placing the stone forefront draws one's eyes on it then follow the sand into the distance. Nice picture, Bianca. Link to comment

jana 1 Posted August 17, 2006 Very well composed ! I like the play with DOF, that is actually quite original in WA shots . cheers Jana Link to comment
wentbackward 0 Posted September 14, 2009 This is such a refreshing composition, I love how you've used the haze in the distance instead of going for a balanced, crystal sharp shot all over. Reminds me of the film Dune. Link to comment
