Nice and sharp with great color, Ken. I like the detail in the eye especially. We have only had robins once here at our place in S Texas and that was last year.

This makes me smile because we have this antique barn lantern as our front porch light. I went out 2 days ago & the entire light was covered with this "HUGE" bird's nest :) I was astounded. It covered the entire light, which is really big. It is amazing how fast they work. Sadly, we had to take it down for fear of burning the house down, the light gets pretty hot when lit. I was afraid we might have hard boiled eggs in the nest :) Toby moved it to a near by tree, but the birds are ignoring it :)

I do agree with Jamie that is has a regal & stately pose. Very beautiful DOF & details of the bird. Very 'homely' feel.

Ken, the early bird gets the twigs. . he certainly looks industrious. . a great bird photo. . wonderful detail, good color and background, and capture of the catchlight which elevates it to another level. . nice framing too. . .
