roger_kallet 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Olli, Outstanding. And the same for the rest of your portfolio. By looking at the catchlight in her eyes, it seems the lighting, except for a limited amount of faint daylight, was one on-camera flash. Is that so? Roger Link to comment
olli.pekonen 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Hi Roger! I had a special trick of rigging 550EX and 420EX on my camera, 550EX as master on the hotshoe and 420EX as the slave on a 20year old Hama flash mount attached at the screw mount at the bottom of the camera. This creates a poor man's glam flash :-) Link to comment
allen_r1 0 Posted May 1, 2006 This is a really nice portrait. I like the lighting and expression. The only recommendation I would have is a tighter crop at the bottom-just below the hair line. In my opinion, the bottom part of the coat detracts rather than adds to the photo. Also, this would allow the horizon to be placed a third up her body rather than cutting the it in half as it does now- a little more pleasing I think. Link to comment
