dilip_kumar_singha 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Extremely beautiful photograph of the web. Shallow DOF is attractive so far as diffused background is considered. Bur the diffused foreground at the right side is really distracting. It is better to crop this out. Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted April 29, 2006 I wasn't sure about the right side of the shoot. I was thinking that it added tone and contrast, wish it hadn't been quite so blurred. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted November 25, 2006 I think I like this version the best. By including the rest of the tree on the right, with the blurry background, it all seems more fairy landish. I hope this one doesn't disappear. I have been thoroughly enjoying my time spent in your portfolio. When I have figured out how to say how I like the way you use color, depth of field, sharpness, and blur, and everything you do so well, I will come back and make a sensible comment in your portfolio! dave_dube 10 Posted November 26, 2006 Thanks Maggie! Just last night, I read something that I need to read over and over. Making art and viewing art are different at their core. The viewers' concerns are not my concerns (although it is dangerously easy to adopt their attitudes.). Their job is whatever is is: to be moved by art, to be entertained by it, to put others down, whatever. My job is to learn to work and improve on my work! Thanks again for helping to point that out. Warm Regards, Dave Link to comment
