kenny_com 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Hi Alec, I actually a fan of your picture, envy all the beautiful models that you worked with. But lately, I realized that you doing a lot more photoshop thing. Maybe getting slightly carry away.... Ooo... by the way, since the model is leggy... it will be nice to see more leg... hee!! hee!! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Thanks guys for coming and giving your comments and ratings. Kenny, actually I PS marginally and try to keep as close to the original as possible. If you look at the top celibrity photographers like David Lachapelle you'll notice that many use PS grossly for effect. It's the artistic merit and originality which is more important in portrait study which makes an image stand out - whether it is PSed or not is secondary. Link to comment
kenny_com 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Hi Alec, THanks for sharing the idea. I think you are right, getting the picture to tell the story... I am just a beginner photographer which I still have a lot to learn. mmm... I wonder if I can tag along and learn something from you... :) I think the reason I am not too crazy about PS is because the tool always alter the picture and make it "not real". I guess I am wrong about that... ;) THANKS AGAIN... Link to comment
