Tony, that was very good of her.....Sometimes it may be that they are concerned about the effect of flash could have on the colors of the rugs and other things....I'll bet she never thought that her kindness would result in a photograph seen all over the world.....Jim

Lucky dog you are Tony;) In most castle's and museums this is strictly forbidden. It wouldn't surprise me if you have throw your charmes into the fray to get permission. LOL

At any rate it has delivered you a beautiful picture.

 

The room looks very inviting. I love the stylish interior and the natural light which falls in trough the window. The fringing of the carpets reminds me of my childhood; my mum had a special comb to straighten it in case we would get visitors. I look forwards for more of this really very nice interior pictures Tony. Greets, Ada:-)
