jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted May 8, 2006 Unusual and interesting composition - like a complex flower. The outer layer opens to show the inner, and this in turn shows what is inside by moulding to the surface and by translucency. Different ways of revealing. Best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted May 16, 2006 "Beauty is in the eyes of beholders", thank you for seeing the beauty in this simple photograph. I like how you describe it, "a complex flower". Your translation is eloquently lyrical, and it is of no wonder that you have created many beautiful "complex flowers" in your poforlio. Warm regards, tanya. Link to comment
david_cassidy2 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Tanya, I have looked at this image many times but have not commented on it. It seems to have such a subtlety about its quality. It grows on you. The soft light, the simple composition ... it all just fits so well. Its subtleties are what make it so complex and so strong. Well done. -David Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted June 7, 2006 thanks for being so geniune interested in my embroyic photography (at least that's how i feel :o)). I feel flattered being noticed by a few exceptionally talented photographers in PN, and you are one of them. I know technically i am still very weak, but it's beyond my comprehension of how i get so priviliged (of course, i am not complaining :o)). Your caring about my art motivates me to get better each day. Thanks again for your sincere concern. Warm regards, Tanya. Link to comment
rina 0 Posted July 23, 2006 I like this very special crop - the piccture is soft and without showing anything rather erotic. Link to comment

michaelhills 0 Posted January 10, 2007 Sensual indeed, Tanya. This is an amazing graceful, innocent, yet highly seductive image. Highly emotive.I like the 'complex flower' analogy. I like the hint of skin, the form of the body just showing through the white, the creases in the clothes formed by her sitting body, the wood of the chair and the muted tones. However, if I was to be picky about it, I would humbly suggest the following:- the background, though muted, is still a touch distracting to my eye. - I see a blue smudge/spot on her clothes near the creases where her leg 'meets' her torso.- the zipper is perhaps a little too stretched.Tanya, like I said, those are just my personal nit picks - it is just me ;)It does not detract from what an outstanding image this is.By the way, your portfolio is highly emotive - especially your captures of the birth process and the parents/child portraits. Very, very good.M :) Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Thank you for visiting my site and leaving a thoughtful and useful detailed comment. I learned well from what you have mentioned for future shooting. At the time i posted this photo, i guess i was so excited of the image that i neglected the distracting details. It was an outdoor shot...out of the moment, i guess i can fix the distracting details in PS. BTW, i love you website, there are a lot of interesting photos with very creative composition. It was like viewing a "sweet love" movie. Thanks again for visiting. Warm regards. Tanya. Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted January 15, 2007 ...I am sorry that i have not had time to response to every comment on this photo. Now a day, when i receive a comment, i am more excited to visit the person's homepage and leave comments than responding one on mine. I hope you don't mind. In any case, thanks for taking your time to leave comments. Warm regards, Tanya. Link to comment
