pjmeade 12 Posted April 29, 2006 Hello Chris, Nicely observed. Are the colours accurate, they look a little over saturated. Regards. Pete Link to comment
chrisspracklen 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Thanks for the comment, Peter. To be honest, it's difficult to say if the colours are "accurate", or not.Probably 'not', in this case! But, then, I prefer strong colours.I tend to look at the world through imaginary sunglasses that turn the volume up a bit!Hopefully, the vivid reds and greens don't detract from the simplicity of the shot. Thanks again,Chris Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted April 29, 2006 THis is a very strong composition. Simple and very effective. I like the saturated colors but it looks like it maybe a little over-sharpened. Could be my screen though. Beautifully done. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 29, 2006 Nicely seen and captured. A charming, fun composition. The colors look fine to me, though indeed it might be a wee bit oversharpened. By way of critique, the light is quite flat. It might've been better to shoot this scene later in the day, or, since the dark bg indicates there are clouds around, to wait for a more interesting pattern of light and shadow. Link to comment
chrisspracklen 0 Posted April 29, 2006 You're certainly right about the light but, when I took it, it was even flatter than you see here!! The problem was it was one of those times when I couldn't hang around, nor was I sure how soon I could get back there again. So I shot it and did what I could with it! Kind regards, Chris Link to comment
