A really interesting shot Rabinder and you've got the the lighting and focus spot on. Great to see an original insect shot - as a fellow Powershot user I'm very impressed!

This is my favorite from a wonderful series. The focus is spot on. I like the composition with all the bright color off to the left side, but the detail in the nest helping the right side hold its own. You've got just the right amount of glare on the wasp to show that it has a shiny exoskeleton without lots of distracting blown-out highlights. This would be an excellent illustration to accompany a discussion of these insects in a science magazine or textbook, but it also stands alone as a fine photograph in its own right. Shabash!
