tinaforgetphotography 0 Posted June 12, 2006 I loved the other image of this child, but this one has captivated me even further. Now with those beautiful eyes gazing toward the direction of the viewer, one can't help but be entranced by them. Lighting, again, perfect. What a beautiful child! Excellent capture, Kaushik! (This works in B&W and sepia.) Respect, Tina Link to comment
thierrylaflamme 0 Posted June 14, 2006 Thanks a lot for such a nice comment regarding my work and the picture "Fruits and cereal bowl". I am honoured because I truly respect your work either. You have strong pictures. They are touching, full of tenderness and the lighting is magnificent! Regards from Ontario, Canada. Link to comment
andreas marx 0 Posted June 22, 2006 Hi, you did an overall very impressive job here, I would be glad to be as good as you are. I am just saying this in advance, 'cause I do have minor remarks to this photo and want to make sure you understand these not as a harsh critique, but just as ways to make an excellent photo even a tad better :-) Its all about eyes here and indeed you caught the eyes very nicely! BW is certainly the right choice. The pose is excellent (hope the cild got his sweets as a "models payment cheque"!) What bothers me is the "melting" of his / her left eye with the background, if you could manage to have that small shadow out there, I think this would be just great. Again, thats a quite minor point - congrats to this work. Cheers, Andreas Link to comment
