oswegophoto 1 Posted April 28, 2006 Prow of a brick ship, on a stone sea? What do you see in this? (It's a detail from a century old iron smelter.) Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted April 28, 2006 An archaeological find... a stone age flint tool waiting to be discovered in layers of earth, and whereas we used to use stone as a tool, we now use it mainly as a bulding material. Either that, or one of those Icebreaker ships heading for the North Pole. Link to comment

schneekranich 0 Posted May 7, 2006 intrusion is a good title, it must have taken hundreds of years. It's about forces to me, interesting! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted May 7, 2006 I like this image & the title. Creates deep thought :) It also gives me a feeling of movement, like "ducks swimming in a pond". Nice contrast of light & form. Well seem & captured. Link to comment
oswegophoto 1 Posted July 13, 2006 Stephen, Klaus, Andrea, Jayme, thanks ever so much. A small group, but a mighty one, since I'm very impressed by each of you. As a technical curiosity, I've added a shot taken a moment later with a much newer camera, though still a mechanical one (Nikon FM2n with Nikkor-S 35mm f/2.8, Kodak Black & White +400 film).
