Path To The Light

I love the composition and how the stairs are leading to the lighthouse, but the the treatment of the clouds in the background... not so much. I wonder how the original was. btw, I've enjoyed your portfolio very much.

The clouds look very dramatic,but the title show the way,I think is an interesting one,best to you,Radu.

To both C TR and Radu for your comments and interest is this image. As Radu commented, I was after a very dramatic mood. By playing with some of the black and white options in the software, I produce this result. I feel it gave the image more power and feel. Just my own thoughts. Thank you again.

Very nice shot. I like the feel you have created. The clouds look almost like they are flattened out. Kinda like a big background.

David - is this a composite of two or more shots? To me it looks as though the clouds have been dropped in. Not that it really matters as the end result is very dramatic. Good work.

I love your grayscale image, the clouds are wonderful. I would have cropped off a bit of the foreground to lessen the walk to the lighthouse.
