pnital 36 Posted April 26, 2006 Public phone, poster with an added mustache...and a passer by... A typical street scene. Thanks for your thoughts, Pnina Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted April 26, 2006 Hi Pnina, wellseen streetscene! But I really find it difficult to see this picture as 'one shot'. It looks as if you have join two different pictures together. I think it's the missing end of the cart that the woman pulls behind her which is the cause of my problem. Perhaps it is an optical illusion and do I need to look a bit longer. What concerns the picture; I love the creases in the poster which are so visible. And ofcourse the mustache. It looks as if the model has draw it by herself with the lipstick. Very funny and o so recognizable and understandable reaction of somebody who couldn't resist the child in him/herself to give the woman a sex change. Greetings to you Pnina, Ada:) Link to comment
mikestacey 0 Posted April 27, 2006 A very interesting scene Pnina. Quite disorientating and direct at the same time. Technically I like the photo also, the sepia tones are even and well distributed and balanced. It's the kind of image that warrants a closer look and stimulates the mind. -Mike Link to comment
blackdogstudio 0 Posted April 27, 2006 An incredible capture Pnina. It is amazing how much detail you've captured from both scenes. Now, I find it really interesting that the facial profile of the woman on the left appear similar to the face on the right particularly at the nose and around the ears. A superb capture. Very well seen. Regards, Kelvin. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Pnina, fascinating street scene and love the sepia rendering. I, too, though, get the impression they are two separate shots and the eyes go from right to left, two different focalpoints. The poster, though, with the moustache is great. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted April 27, 2006 Interesting mixture of art & reality that constitutes this street scene. The poster catches my eyes on the most part as it is so captivating. I do agree that this is like 2 parts of a picture, each part can be stand alone. Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Time goes by,the lady moves on,the poster remains.Good street scene watched by You and now from me too. Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Pnina, I know a person gets lucky once in a while, but it still takes a very good photographer to get as many as you do, espesially so often.....Jim Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 27, 2006 to all of you,Mario,Ada,Mike,Kelvin.Guzin,Howard, Julio,Paula, Cherlyn Jim and Alix. It is ONE photo, but the angle I photographed connected the poster and the other part, so it is two parts, of reality and the poster connected while shooting. Kelvin , you are right about the ear and nose;-)) Jim, thank s for your always generouse words! Pnina Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted April 27, 2006 This is a great shot, Pnina. It's nice when street scenes have enough subject matter to hold interest. When I first saw this, I thought John might have taken it. Very well done. Best Regards, Barry Link to comment

jim kerr 0 Posted April 28, 2006 Dear Pnina, Please know that I call the shots as I see them. It does no one any good to put down anyone with talent just to make myself look a superior to others in my own mind. It would only show how poorly I was raised, and that I was filled with my own fellings of self importance. I think if a person isn't trying to make this world a little better place to live in, then we are in this world for the wrong reasons......Jim Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted April 28, 2006 Barry, John is a great street photohgrapher, thanks for the compliment! Pulok, Hanna,Sarah Kluas and Amal, thanks for liking, and commenting. Jim, can you explain your comment, I'm not sure I understood the idea expressed, due to my English being a foreign language . If you speak about talent? I think that each of us have that gift in his own way. Thanks again for your feedback.Pnina Link to comment
