The Marine Way Bridge Southport

davidbridge

Taken with buLb on a Manfrotto tripod (very stable). I have wanted to do this shot since I got the camera. I was tempted to rub out the asymetrical white lines in the foreground or crop more to remove them but as I also wanted to keep a good aspect raitio and a balanced symetry in the rest of the photo (i.e. eagles either side and gap above and below structure) I decided against it. What do you think?Levels and curse adjusted and a few highlights / reflections removed.

Technically great, but I feel colors are too much saturated...and the particular file you have uploaded is not very good quality; did u touch it up in photoshop?

oh i read your remarks... i think u did a bit too much levels/curves

otherwise it's great!

Thanks for looking and commenting saurabh. Sorry for uploading a web version - I didn't think anybody would notice ;-)

The saturation was by design for slightly postcard type of feel. Do you really think its too harsh?

I am going to put the original unaltered photo up. It'll be big mind. Let me know what you think to it.
