charles_fox 0 Posted April 25, 2006 I have attempted to use the trees as a frame for this shot. This allows you to focus on and through the length of the bridge. Converted image to B&W. Unfortunitley, there's a litte noise due to wrong ISO setting - Adds a little feeling to it though I think... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 30, 2006 Hi Charles, I like the composition and framing, I think you chose correctly by including the trees. Now you seem to have the artistic bit worked out, but I think you can up your technical game: the dynamic range of the shot looks a bit shallow, I'd suggest using the 'dropper tools' in Levels (if you use PhotoShop) to set the black and whitepoint, you'll get a much higher contrast image then. If you then reduce the image size ever so slightly (by about a 3rd) the result will look sharper - I'd show you what I mean but I'm at work without photoshop. And always check your ISO! Good luck.
