pnital 36 Posted April 24, 2006 Beautiful composition in a natural surrounding. The red tube and diagonal line are making a nice angle for the couple, as well as the blue sky. well exposed well done. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 24, 2006 You can barely make out the babies in the nest - I think there were two in this nest and three in another nest. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 24, 2006 Pity Kim, It is impossible to see them, and I'm sure it was interesting sight, but the image is very nice because of the birds details and very nice surrounding included. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted July 4, 2006 Two protective parents on an oil barge. There were three nests on this small deck! Comments? Link to comment
kaiblanke 1 Posted July 4, 2006 A nice and sharp picture of the birds, I especially like the way they stare towards the right. But the metal contruction on the left is unfortunately pretty annoying. Link to comment
design8r 0 Posted July 4, 2006 good pic of the birds but why did you leave in the red bar at the bottom? 4/5 Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted July 4, 2006 I chose to leave the metal parts in because I thought it was interesting that birds would build a nest on an oil barge. I have pictures of herons "in the wild", but this mix of nature and man's influence was a statement on life for many animals nowadays. Link to comment
jnicholson 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Looks like they've got themselves a "fixer upper" of a nest. Cool shot. I'm jealous. I haven't yet been able to see a nest low enough to catch a view inside. The metal's fine and as you say, they chose to nest there. Nice work. Link to comment
