I've done this "out of the frame" effect too. I think it's pretty cool. My only quibble is that the bird looks like a photograph but the birds beak looks cartoonish. It's not because of the out of the frame effect. I can't put my finger on it, but it just looses it's authenticity.

I love these out of frame photos, (I'm still trying to figure out how to do them!) I agree the beak looks odd, but the overall effect is good.... Kim :o)
