carl_huelgas 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Very good composition - the photo is real well balanced with objects in the left and right part of the picture. The view is directed through the photo to the main subject in the background. Great green color and wonderful sky. Exposure is perfect! Greetings Carl Link to comment
kmuru 0 Posted April 24, 2006 when i looked at the picture my eyes were drawn to the tree then immediately to the chateau/castle (i think). its an excellent way of leading the eye into the picture. great idea. well executed. Link to comment
Bien ࠶ous, Pascal Chambin Link to comment
uriah 0 Posted April 24, 2006 At first this reminded me of when the T-Rex stepped into frame on Jurassic Park! Great shot....love the colors!!! Link to comment
mario_grgic 0 Posted April 25, 2006 but even at this small size, it's apparent that the sky has been replaced with more dramatic one. The tree at the front looks "grafted" too. But the idea, and overall "composition" is visually appealing. Link to comment
romeyer.jp 0 Posted April 25, 2006 NO Mario, the sky has not been "replaced", but just "worked" separately...and this is not optimum neither perfect, I agree...unfortunately the Nikon sensors are far to be perfect to register dynamic correctly...a Fuji S3 would have produced a far better basic file, that could have been improved as usual (contrasts, light...) with surely better final result. I see friends here shooting with the S3 and having drastically better result with high contrast shots... Here is the basic jpeg file (I shoot in RAW+Jpeg basic) where you can check that the sky is not replaced, but "burned" by lack of dynamic...(and still I underexposed by 1 IL...! Thanks for your comment, Mario and all other PN friends. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted April 26, 2006 Jean, very good composition, vibrant colors and DOF. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted April 26, 2006 Nice composition & DOF. Makes the viewer feel very small & "hidden". I like that. I also like being able to compare the original file with the final image. Thanks for including it. Really nice job! Link to comment
