weezul 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Very fine skin tone, maybe I'd go for a tighter crop or more close-up, those line on the left are a bit of distraction. Still, a great piece of work - and, last but not least, a fantastic model! Link to comment

cfimages 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Viewed in the smaller size it's good, viewed larger it's stunning. You are indeed fortunate to have such a willing model in the family. Great work. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted April 24, 2006 Maciej, Pedro, Julio, Biplab appreciate your kind comments. Larry thanks for your kind encouragement. Craig, she's in a stage where they are finding out their own individualism. I'm just glad she's still down to earth. I'm sure Jaslyn appreciates your kind comment. Thanks. Link to comment

sjmurray 33,568 Posted April 25, 2006 What's not to like about this! OK, maybe I'd crop a little off the left side; her right shoulder tends to draw the eye towards that corner just a bit. The soft lighting is nice. You always seem to capture a great expressions in your portraits, which is an art in itself. I see you are using the 50mm quite a bit in this type of shot. Any reason you prefer this to the 105? Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Klaus, Javed, Amar appreciate your kind comments. Steve I use 50mm lens which is equivqalent to 70-80mm with the 1.6 factor. With my 80-105mm lens I might be too far to have rapport with the subject. From my experience 50mm is great for studio model shoot but for outdoors 85mm and above is definitely better because of the richer bokeh. Link to comment
bogdan_dumitru 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Great, great! Superb lighting. Good, although a bit, hmm, un-natural (?) skin tones. A bit "too perfect". Great expression she has, a beginning of a smile. Good background. Very, but verygood DOF. Bravo! Many thanks for following my work, --Bogdan Link to comment
