aepelbacher 0 Posted April 22, 2006 I previously mentioned that I would be uploading several detail images from the city of Biron. I really loved all of the nuances in the architecture in this place. The decorative work on the tops of the walls in the castle was wonderful, and the colors of the stones used in all of the buildings worked so well together. It was just a gorgeous place ... and I obviously had a gorgeous day. I especially liked the small gargoyles at the corners. If you haven't looked at the wide image of the entire city, please check out that post. As always, any thoughts or comments or ratings that you have for me are greatly appreciated! detd 0 Posted April 22, 2006 This is an extraordinary place and a very well captured detail of the whole! You got perfectly the colour nuances of the stonework. Regards, Detlev Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted April 25, 2006 This one is set out nicely against the bright blue sky, while you still managed to get some of the colours in the stones. And the gargoyles, though they take up only a small part, were the ones my eyes flung to first thing when I saw this image :o) First I thought it was only one strangely formed one, but a closer look revealed the second one. Maybe you could try to lighten this one a little bit so it stands out better against the background? Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted April 25, 2006 No, Ilse - I don't see the second one!! Point it out to me, will you? Link to comment

p. easter 0 Posted May 30, 2006 Oh my goodness, what detail! I love the contrast between the grey of the stone and the azure blue of the sky! Nice going! Link to comment
