As always Birte, your wildlife and nature shots are something to behold. I am reaaly drawn to the colour. The blue on top adds an interesting dimension. I feel bad for the fish, but better luck to it in the next life.

I have a really silly question. I hate to even ask. Is this black background done in photoshop? I've seen pictures of wildlife, and flowers with black backgrounds and I like the way they look. I was just wondering if it can be done with the camera by maybe underexposing the back and lighting just the subject. I'm new at this and trying to learn all that I can. Thanks Birte.
