Thoughts?

Amy, I rather suspect the blown highlights are a product of overexposure or perhaps glare from a non-polarized surface. The resulting washed out or diminished colours keep this one from becoming the eye popping detail of spring that it should be. I noticed the same effect in another of your offerings (the blue flowers in mixed sun & shade) & wonder if the histogram looked good to you at the time or if you are spot metering correctly. Your thoughts? Otherwise, a good effort. Best, LM.
