I like this B&W for different reasons than the color. This one, in B&W, stresses the lines and angles ... as well as the levels of the tones. In the color one, the simplicity of the composition and the very nice blues were also nicely framed. Finally, in this B&W version, I am not distracted by the tiny bit of brown building that I see twice in the reflections on the right half of the image. Great eye ... where is this building?

Lou Ann, thank you for your comprehensive comments. I was happy to learn B/W conversion using the Lightness Channel. There you have more control over the outcome unlike the normal mode change. You nailed one [of many] that I too was not so pleased with the other shot [the brown reflection]. Talk about Great Eyes - thanks for catching that. This building is in the corner of Gallows and Route 66 [see attached image]. I'd like to see your version of the same building soon.

It took me a few days to get back to you. Um ... my own image of the same building may have to wait until this summer. I don't get out that way too often ... my world is Lorton, Springfield, Arlington, and the 395/95 corridor. If (IF) I branch out, it's usually just to the downtown area (near the monuments/museums). But this summer I will have plenty (PLENTY) of free time for two months. (EEK!) So I will definitely venture out. When I DO post a pic of this building, you'll be the first to know! :-)
