conart 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Good use of infra-red. I'd be interested to know what chemistry you used. Is this image derived from a neg or a print? Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Andy, IR modified: Internal IR cut filter removed from Sony F828 resulting in normal daylight shooting speeds with R72 IR filter. This is a great digital camera for IR images. Sondra Link to comment
jay_philbrick 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Wow! Awesome IR shot. Nice job finding this spot to get the river at a diagonal, the trees, and the mountains in the background. We were there at the beginning of the month and had some great, dramatic weather but no green on the trees for IR shots. Very good use of IR. Great job! Link to comment

jim kerr 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Color or normal B&W would be very good also, but IR is soooo special,Sondra.....Jim Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 21, 2006 Sondra, I really like how the trees are framing the rock, but the rock is dominating the scene and the cloud is dominating the rock...Very nice IR, and well composed. Link to comment
bob_brins 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Everything works well here, Sondra. I love the manner in which the eye is lead into the picture by the stream, then the cental peak and then on to the remainder of the ridge. Some might say what luck to find the stream, the tress, the clouds etc. But, it's your skill, not luck. Also, for you IR is part of your pallet whereas with others it's merely an effect. This is an excellent image. Bob Link to comment

kleintje 0 Posted April 27, 2006 This is an awesome IR photo. The high contrast between the trees in the foreground and the mountains in the background, the special touch of the cloud just touching the top of the mountains and the river adding extra interest in the foreground, braking up the bright trees. Beautiful! Link to comment
