Lovely portrait with excellent light work

Thanks Amar, it's been a long time since I shot my younger daughter as she's quite adept at self portraiture.

Very good one Alec... she's nicely relaxed, but I'm distracted by the (right) hand. The veil could be placed over the hand...

There is alot to like here Alec! Lovely skin tones and excellent composition. The muted violet background & complimentary drape over left hand work very well together to frame the subject. The subtle movement of her hair especially over the left forehead, serene facial expression, soft sidelighting and subtle texturing effect create a exquisite "painting" of uncommon elegance and beauty. Kelvin, sharp eye, I did use a fan to blow the hair a little. Perhaps I should have covered up the left hand as Gul suggested to balance the image.

Ok now she's all grown up. and great portrait. she does look more like Kat now in the picture. Looks like all her posing in front of her own camera is paying off big time cuz its great the way she engages the camera. beautiful light. though not to sure about that thin veirl sort of thing in the bottom corner.

Thanks Adolfo, Bilal, I thought the silk veil made the image cool. The sheen stands out very well.
