alecee 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Thanks Alon, this was taken with natural low lighting from the window and a silver reflector on the right. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Alec, I like the lighting and the surrounding you shot her image in. Also I like the purple in the background. Well done. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Thanks Amar, it's been a long time since I shot my younger daughter as she's quite adept at self portraiture. Link to comment

gbc 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Very good one Alec... she's nicely relaxed, but I'm distracted by the (right) hand. The veil could be placed over the hand... Link to comment
blackdogstudio 1 Posted April 21, 2006 There is alot to like here Alec! Lovely skin tones and excellent composition. The muted violet background & complimentary drape over left hand work very well together to frame the subject. The subtle movement of her hair especially over the left forehead, serene facial expression, soft sidelighting and subtle texturing effect create a exquisite "painting" of uncommon elegance and beauty. Congrats. Regards, Kelvin. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 22, 2006 Alec, Kelvin described it so well that I will add only that she is a real beauty, and you did a very good job showing and composing it. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Julio, Gul, Pnina appreciate your kind comments. Kelvin, sharp eye, I did use a fan to blow the hair a little. Perhaps I should have covered up the left hand as Gul suggested to balance the image. Link to comment

Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Ok now she's all grown up. and great portrait. she does look more like Kat now in the picture. Looks like all her posing in front of her own camera is paying off big time cuz its great the way she engages the camera. beautiful light. though not to sure about that thin veirl sort of thing in the bottom corner. alecee 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Thanks Adolfo, Bilal, I thought the silk veil made the image cool. The sheen stands out very well. Link to comment
