sarahunderhill 1 Posted April 19, 2006 The reason I like this is...he is in my face! That was my first thought. This works because of the tight crop! Love it.. Link to comment
nicols 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Very very very beautiful photo. Not just the look, but also the mouth position, they are both fantastic! Link to comment
julio_segura_carmona1 4 Posted April 19, 2006 Perfecto encuadre, magnifica luz, B/W. y bella composicion, un cordial saludo Howard. Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted April 19, 2006 That I call ORIGINAL,a look you remember, the cat looks intelligent. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted April 19, 2006 I'm not usually a big fan of pet shots ... but this is GREAT! You've truly given this little one some very human characteristics. I love the slant to his eyes and the growl on his lips. Wonderful in B&W!! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Great expression, Howard. A lot of detail in the fur. This is one you could crop just above the nose (without the eye) and it would still work as the mouth is as expressive as the eye. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Great close up with incredible details. That eye is mesmerizing. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 22, 2006 Hey Howard, she stars right to my eye.... lol. Good crop. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted April 22, 2006 A creative and eye catching crop with a good choice of B&W. Nicely done! Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted April 25, 2006 He (she?) really doesn't seem pleased with this photo being taken. The expression of the eye and the mouth give him a bit of a vicious look. You captured this expression very well. The b&w and crop add to the mood. Hope you didn't get hurt in the process of taking this photo! Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted April 27, 2006 So "up close and personal". Surprising the cat tolerated you! LOL! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted May 2, 2006 I like the composition & subject, but I can't help but think I want a deeper DOF. Almost tack sharp, especially the eye. I like the way the whiskers fan out at the bottom of the frame. Link to comment
atdeleted 0 Posted May 12, 2006 Superb B&W, I love feeling of closeness in it, maybe there should be a little more DOF and you could've taken the photo so that his/her face would be cut in half? Link to comment
mdd1 0 Posted May 23, 2006 I once read that women most of the time are inclined to focus on the eyes of the animal, men don't. IMHO It's proven here once again. :) I think this is a wonderful photo, very strong because of the B&W. I love it. Best regards, Marga btw, i recently added a couple of B&W photos in my folio and i would very much appreciate your comment and suggestions. Link to comment
ghiga 0 Posted June 5, 2006 I agree with Marga. I wish to see the eye more focused, but the photo is beautiful anyway. May I invite You to see my cat-eye? http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2929821&size=lg Link to comment
