Well, sometimes "the rating machine" just won't function when I try to give my rates to some photos, so, here I am to say that I like your photo.

Cheers,

Photographing children from above can be tricky (it sometimes gives a kind of helpless image of them) but you did it very well. It is probably because of the tilt of her face and the framming that you used. She apears very proud, I like that (and she is, of course, a beautiful girl), and we get to see her art as well... her eyes are so expressive...

You seem to be getting along quite well with your new Nikon friend ;)

Nice, Alon. The b&w treatment from digital works well here - didn't make theink 'oh ... digital.' The light in hte black eyes works well with the blacks in the upper right hand corner. Best, Jeremy

I agree with Alejandro totally and you have captured her expression and the moment in an excellent manner. Also you truly have mastered the conversion to B & W which it is so difficult with digital, almost like film.

Great image and great digital work.

Thanx Jeremy , Zammit and Marco . Appreciated . Marco - Yep , I got used to it very fast . The operation of the D100 is very simple and user friendly and the results are great . The color the CCD captures is excellent and very natural . You may say I'm very pleased :)

I'm glad this popped up on the side.

So young, yet she holds that brush very seriously, carefully... another shot of imagination and endeavor into fun, made nostalgic in b&w.
