esau_b. 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Donna, Nice shot. I love the use of colors you have here. And the shapes of the colors on the ducks go well with the shapes of the waters highlights. Well done. The only suggestion i would have here is for next time to leave a little more room to the right of the image to give the little duckies a place to swim. It will give a sense of direction to the shot. Well done though. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Esau, thanks for your critique. . . I was trying to enhance the graphic quality of this image by adjusting the saturation of the green in the water. . usually, I add more space in front of the birds in my images, but I thought that a more symmetrical look would work here. . . ljk 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I love the color combo. I think the placement of the ducks works well, and your frame in conjunction with the stark black and white of their feathers creates a bold graphic statement. Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Very nice composition with beautiful colors. It's allmost like the white parts of the ducks and the highlightes water together makes a pattern. Pretty obvious where you the focus and it's placed well. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted April 19, 2006 I think the close crop works well and more space to the right is not needed. The green water works well and the highlights in the water and water detail on the right adds interest. This image has a strong graphic appeal. Nicely done, Donna. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted May 3, 2006 This has a nice balance, imo. I also like the contrast of the greenish water against the black/white of the ducks. Link to comment
