bogdan_dumitru 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Superb, Dusan. You got great timing again, caught him right in the middle of the verse. You created great atmosphere using the light. Maybe, just maybe, a bit too harsh on the hands. I do love the variation -- lots of light on the hands, good light on the face, and then shadows. Foremost, the crop is superb, his hands seem like heruvims' song. Good photo, regards, 6/6. I do thank you for following my work. You have experience and great eyes, so good ratings from you mean a lot, and comments from you are encouraging. Do you have a second? If so, could you look at this flower alone in the dark and at these drops of light that I caught? If you could, let me know what feelings you have by rating them and maybe leaving a critique if you have the time. See you here on PN, --Bogdan Link to comment
dushan 0 Posted April 19, 2006 Dear Bogdan, (again, copy-paste) from: page"Thank you very much for your kind comments and ratings about my work/s, but look my friend it's no good: "Do you have a second? If so, could you look at this flower alone in the dark and at these drops of light that I caught? If you could, let me know what feelings you have by rating them and maybe leaving a critique if you have the time.". Look Bogdan, it's not good for any artist (reciprocity principle). Without any irony or sarcasam from me, i'm not 'photo-worker' or 'photo-slave' :-/ (or master for 'postcards'), i'm only photo-artist, really little today, but artist. Maybe and 'photo-shepherd', but only man and not 'photo-joystik-machine'. So, my Bogdan again thanks for your comment but i presonal thinking about: 'Please rate and etc.' is not good system for advertasing, you have really good works but it's not good path for you and any photographer/s. Did you understand me? Anyhow, you really have good, very good eye for composition. Friendly, Dushan" Thank you very much Bogdan & Cheers d. Link to comment
alinux33 0 Posted April 20, 2006 I never thought that I will hear here by Dragoslav Pavle Aksentijevic! I definitely love how he sings,...but my words are so poor to describe the effect of his spiritual songs!! Unfortunately, his songs are so hard to find. Did you hear him in live interpretation? For me, he has the most "out of this world" voice I heard. I really love your liturgic photos and I must say that I haven't the courage to try take this kind of shots, even I consider them a endless source of inspiration. And because the Holy Easter will come in a few days here is my greeting: "Hristos a inviat!!" My best wishes! Alin Link to comment
