vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Please, give a look also to the b&w version and give a preference. Thanks very much, Vincenzo Link to comment
Link to comment
gungajim 75 Posted April 18, 2006 I prefer the color version. It seems to tilt slightly, down and to the right. If this was not intentional you could make a little perspective adjustment in PS to correct it. I've only spent one day in my life in Naples. It is a wonderful and scenic city. I will have to consult an atlas to find out where Miseno is. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted April 18, 2006 i agree. the color version is better. not only do you have the wonderful alternating dark and light arches, but they alternate warm and cool as well, and the tones are beautiful. very nice!!! Link to comment

vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I would like to thank all of you. I really appreciate all of your comment and support. I'll work to do better and better. Actually I see the photo is slighly right tilt, I've just corrected the prespective with PS, maybe have to rotate a little bit counterclockwise, but the last dark arch seemed straight... whatever... Thanks again, Vince Link to comment
vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted April 18, 2006 Just few words to describe the location, if you're interested. You have to came in Naples, drive north along the Tangenziale towards Pozzuoli and go to Miseno (refers to a map to better driving info). Once in a plaza in fron of Miseno lake, you'll find indication towards Piscina Mirabilis going up to a stairs. At the end of the stairs turn right, but search for a white house on the left side of the street where a kind woman will bring you towards the entrance of the Piscina and opening the gate will bring you in an ancient roman reservoir containing about 12500 cubic meter of water, (just to let you understand the dimension). Refer to travel guide to better info, however I just want to share the tip of looking for the "custode" otherwise getting there and finding the gate locked you gonna miss a magic place. Hope all of You enjoy a visit here. Vincenzo Link to comment
