cherlyn 1 Posted April 17, 2006 Dusan, your control of light is very good. Shower of rays lighten the interior details. Nicely done. Link to comment
dushan 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Thanks Cherlyn, but light control me, you, Floriana, Joao and many people and it's not inverse process. Dark, control only some blockheads. <-- But, it's and inverse process. Best Wishes & Cheers, Dushan d. Link to comment
rjsc 0 Posted April 17, 2006 To tell you the truth I didn't liked the "Lights of St. Nicolas Nr.8" because the light was too much for me but in this shot it's somewhere near perfection. The light-rays, the mirror, the well visible images on the wall, the whole composition but specially the light that seems to come out of the wood altar (not sure it's an altar). The perfect lighting for the chosen environment IMO. The human presence is obviously a great touch. Minor points: probably just one. The white tissue on the upper-right corner transmits the feeling that the image is slightly tilted CCW. Probably just my impression. Not sure about this. Overall: Excellent shot. Congratulations Dusan Link to comment

rjsc 0 Posted April 17, 2006 I've been looking to this "Retro" Series (some of them in your "Other" folder)and I must make a couple of questions - hoping you don't mind -.1. Are they all unmanipulated photos?2. How did you made the measure on light for this shot in particular? What was you reference?Thank you in advance Link to comment
dushan 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Answer for question Nr.1:1.) I think not, many photo is manipulated, few is not.Answer for question Nr.2:2.) Really without any irony, for this your question, answer is very complicated, but here is and 'half-answer' but on Serbian (and Croatian) language. I have much better elocvention on my language for this your question. My best, Dushan d. Link to comment
rjsc 0 Posted April 17, 2006 :)) Thanks anyway Dusan. Unfortunatelly InterTran does a bad work translating Serbian/Croatian. "See" you around Link to comment
dushan 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Unfortunatelly it's true :-/ but Serbian/Croatian language is not world language and unfortunatelly people around all world know ours former country Yugoslavia only because of wars but not and other: culture, tradition, music and many good things... but it's not theme. Cheers, Dushan d. Link to comment
rjsc 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Not everyone has that idea Dusan but even if so I think time will prove it wrong. Artists play a very important role in that mentality change IMO. I'll always prefer a photographer portfolio to a CNN report no matter what! My best regards, Rui. Link to comment
